What effect do Blackjack rules have?

Let us take a quick look at the common rules. Four sets of SCOREs are presented for six-decks and single-deck. First Hit on 17. Then Stand on 17. Then add Double after Split. And finally add Late Surrender. As we can see the differences are dramatic. A 6D H17 shoe game is generally unplayable at a bet spread of 1-12 — unless the penetration is excellent.
