Default Advanced Betting

How much advantage is given up when using a 1-4 bet spread that only allows the bet to move by double going up and in half going down and reset to 1 after the shuffle?

For example:

Currently at a count of <=0 I bet 1, at a count of >=1 I bet 4.

1st hand: Always starts at 1
2nd hand: Can only move to 2 (count >=1) or stay at 1
3rd hand: If previously at 2, bet can move to 4 or back down to 1 or if previously at 1 can only move to 2
4th hand: If previously at 4, bet can stay at 4 or back down to 2.

I feel that CVData can calculate this, but I am so unsure if I am using the right settings.

My goal is to increase cover, but make sure I am still profitable at the same time.

Depends on number of decks and if you're wonging. If this is a shoe and you are playing all hands, that spread is far too low to start with.

Wonging refers to only betting when the count is favorable. It is described in detail in the book. www.qfit.com/book.
