Basic Strategy Advantage

Now let us look at the overall advantage for basic strategy play. We will look it this in two manners. The red bars indicate the average advantage for all games. The green bars exclude 6:5 Blackjack tables. All bars point downwards since the advantage is negative for a basic strategy player.

Right off, we see that Las Vegas has the worst overall advantage for the player. We can also see that 6:5 BJ is the major cause of this difference. Although even stripping out the 6:5 games, Las Vegas does not compete well.

Louisiana, Mississippi, and Atlantic City look good compared to the rest of the country. However, keep in mind that this is just Basic Strategy advantage and good conditions for card counting require additional variables.
