Lawrence Revere

Revere Advanced Plus-Minus – A proprietary, Level I, balanced strategy. Revere was an interesting character in the 1970s. Originally a dealer, he worked both sides of the table and trained many players. He trained players to avoid detection and casinos to detect counters. This is the simplest of his many strategies.

Revere Point Count – An advanced, Level II, balanced strategy optimized for betting. I believe this to be his best. A few players use an ace side count when playing single-deck games with RPC. However, this is very difficult and unneeded. Many long-time players still use this strategy. However, new players rarely use it with the availability of easier counts.

Revere RAPC and 14 Count – These proprietary strategies are still sold by Revere’s family. However, they are very complex and little used these days. Developed in 1971 and 1974, these high-level counts were used by pros in the early days of counting
