More Rules

I will add a few additional rule effects here — but not every combination of every rule as it would fill a book. The values in the table below are differences caused by each rule, not overall advantage. Therefore, they must be added to the values in one of the previous tables to determine overall advantage. Rule definitions can be found after the table. Again, all columns assume the use of a cut-card except for the first.

Estimates of the effects of additional rules can be found in Chapter Minus 1.

Abbreviations:

Ø  D11 (nDAS) – Double on 11 only. Calculated with no double after split as D11 is usually found in nDAS games.

Ø  D10 (nDAS) – Double on 10 and 11 only. Calculated with no double after split as D10 is usually found in nDAS games.

Ø  D9 (DAS) – Double on 9, 10, and 11 only. Calculated with double after split as D9 is usually found in DAS games.

Ø  ES (S17) – Early Surrender in a dealer stands on soft-17 game. Early Surrender does not exist in single-deck games except in my dreams.

Ø  ES (H17) – Early Surrender in a dealer hits soft-17 game.

Ø  BJ pays 2:1 – A wonderful bonus.

Ø  BJ pays 6:5 – A scam.
