Chip Drills Setup

This feature provides drills that can be used by tournament players to practice the estimation of opponents’ bankrolls.

Chip Sizes

Select all of the chip sizes that you would like included.

Options

Ø Mixed Chips - Chip stacks will contain more than one kind of chip.

Ø Accuracy - If 0 is selected, then you will receive an error unless you hit the exact answer. If a number is entered, you must hit the correct answer plus or minus that percent. So 10 would mean plus or minus 10%. If the correct answer is 1000, and you enter 950 with a 10% accuracy setting; you will not be penalized with an error, but you will lose some time and the correct answer will be displayed in yellow.

Ø Max Height - The maximum number of chips in a stack.

Testing Mode

Ø Warn on Error - The standard mode. You will be presented with tests and warned when you receive any errors. You must correct the error to continue

Ø Errors at End - You will be presented with tests but no warnings will be provided. You will see the accuracy rate at the end of the drill.

Ø No Tests - You will not be tested at all. You will be presented with the tests only at the set speed.

Timer Mode

You must select one of the timer modes below to control the presentation of the tests:

Ø Automatic - In this mode, you are given a limited amount of time to respond to tests. If you do not respond on time, the correct answer is displayed in red and an error is logged.

Ø Count Down - In this mode, there is no time limit for tests. There is an overall time limit set by the Alarm control. But you can use more time.

Ø Count Up - This is the same as COUNT DOWN except for the handling of the total time field.

Speed

Note: all speeds and times are measured in seconds and displayed below the control bars.

Ø Test Speed - In Automatic Timer Mode, this field specifies the amount of time that you have to respond to a test.

Ø Alarm Time - In Count Up or Count Down Timer Modes, this field specifies the total time allowed for the entire drill (all tests). At the end of this time, an alarm will sound. The tests will continue.
