REKO-Full, FELT-Full Comparisons

Now let us add REKO-F and FELT-F. REKO and FELT use compromise indexes. That is, indexes that are designed more for ease of use than accuracy. REKO-F and FELT-F use indexes designed for accuracy and additional indexes are used. These indexes can be found in Appendix A starting on page 245.

We can see that the orange line (REKO-F) and the red line (FELT-F) outperform REKO and FELT respectively, and FELT-F obtains the best results. Of course, this assumes no errors, and you are more likely to make errors with more complex strategies. The below table shows the gain in using FELT, REKO-F and FELT-F over REKO with 2.0 to 0.5 decks cut-off. We can see that FELT-F realizes substantial gains with 0.5 deck cut off. Alas, such games are rare indeed.

Again, these charts display a very limited set of conditions. To keep this book to a reasonable size, additional charts can be found at www.qfit.com/book.
