*With double-deck, you can add A,3v4 to the above for a very slight gain.

The penalty for using the H17 soft double table in a six-deck, S17 game or vice-versa is near zero. The two added plays are nearly useless for a Basic Strategy player because the decisions are so close. This is an area where card counting has the advantage as it can take close plays like this and make them profitable.

 

Single-deck changes soft doubling slightly as shown below. Again, double on green.

The penalty for using the S17 multi-deck soft double table in a single-deck game is only .008%. Playing decisions are more important in single-deck games. However, it is common for single-deck games to disallow soft-doubles.
