  • Canfield Expert – A simple, Level 1, balanced card counting strategy optimized for Playing Efficiency found in Richard Canfield's Blackjack Your Way to Riches, Carol Publishing Group, 1977, rev. 1994.
  • Canfield Master – A proprietary, advanced, Level 2, balanced Blackjack strategy available from Canfield Associates since the mid-70's.
  • Hi-Lo – The Hi-Lo Blackjack strategy is a Level 1, balanced strategy optimized for Betting originally created by Harvey Dubner in 1963. The Hi-Lo strategy was later refined by Julian Braun, published by Edward Thorp and refined again by Stanford Wong. In CV, Wong's Hi-Lo strategy is used as published in Professional Blackjack, Pi Yee Press, 1975, rev. 1994.
  • Hi-Opt I – A simple, Level 1, balanced strategy developed by Lance Humble and Carl Cooper. This strategy was built on the Einstein count developed by Charles Einstein in the late 60's. The current version can be found in The World's Greatest Blackjack Book, Doubleday & Company, 1980 by Lance Humble and Carl Cooper.
  • Hi-Opt II – A more complex, Level 2, balanced strategy developed by Lance Humble and Julian Braun. Found to be more powerful than even some Level 3 card counting strategies. (See Blackjack Attack.)
